Robin is the Consultant Partner at HCOL having graduated from Victoria University, Wellington, Robin joined the practice in 1972. His commitment to the community of Tokoroa meant that despite the opportunity to practice outside of the area, he has remained loyal and continues to practice in Tokoroa to advise and assist his many clients in the South Waikato and afar. Robin has a wealth of knowledge and experience. His special areas of interest are rural law, business and commercial law, trusts and asset planning but with his many years of experience as a general practitioner, Robin has a wide range of knowledge and experience in all aspects of the law.
Denise Lee
Principal
Denise joined HCOL in November 2019 and has since become the Principal of the firm. Denise has a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked in law offices in the Waikato for over 30 years. Denise is practical and able to explain things in plain English. Denise provides advice in residential conveyancing which includes the sale, purchase and refinancing of properties, wills, estate administration, elder law, family matters and some Māori land issues.
Keith Cameron
Solicitor
Keith joined HCOL in November 2020. He completed his Degree of Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at Waikato University graduating mid way through 2020. Keith is now a practicing Solicitor that enjoys researching complex legal issues and finding solutions.
Scott Lipscombe
Solicitor
HCOL welcomes Scott who joined the firm at the start of 2024. He comes with decades of legal experience. His work includes a range of matters including Conveyancing (buying and selling of houses), Estates, Trusts, Separation & Relationship Property matters and Enduring Powers of Attorney. Scott has previous court litigation experience and likes to find solutions to legal problems. Like all the team at HCOL, Scott works for and acts in the best interests of the client. He is approachable and communicates well with clients.
Rubette Reweti
Solicitor
Rubette joined the firm in 2015 and worked as a Legal Executive/Registered Legal Executive up until she obtained her practising certificate and became a Solicitor in August 2024. Rubette primarily deals with estates, residential property and conveyancing transactions. Rubette particularly enjoys estates work including helping clients deal with the processes involved during what can be an emotional time.
Denise Sikking
Accounts Manager
Denise began working for HCOL in 1996 and is the firm's longest serving employee. Denise has a varied job description which includes reception, trust account administrator, legal secretarial duties and AML Compliance Officer. Denise is very approachable with a warm and friendly manner, always willing to help.
Megan Nield
Estates Officer & Legal Secretary
Megan has worked for local law firms for the past 20 years and has for eight of those years, worked for HCOL. Megan has a wealth of experience and knowledge having previously been employed as a receptionist, legal secretary and personal assistant. She is currently employed as the Estates Officer and Legal Secretary for Robin managing his estate files. Megan enjoys working in law offices as she enjoys interacting with people.
Jo Rist
Legal Secretary
Jo joined the team in early 2019 after a lengthy career in the banking environment. Jo is the Legal Secretary to Denise Lee. Jo assists Denise in all aspects of her work including conveyancing (rural, commercial and residential), estates, trusts, will and enduring powers of attorney. Jo enjoys helping people and in particular, assisting first home buyers into their first home.
Carly Te Ariki
Legal Assistant
Carly has joined our team at HCOL as a Legal Assistant and brings great energy, strong attention to detail and a commitment to supporting clients and solicitors with efficiency and professionalism. In this role Carly assists with day-to-day administrative support to help ensure smooth operations across the firm. With a lengthy background in Customer Service & Retail Management, she brings confidence and passion. Outside of work Carly enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, travel & new experiences, hiking and discovering new places to eat.
Tayla Heywood
Legal Assistant
Tayla works along-side our upstairs staff and enjoys assisting with conveyancing and Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney. She is outgoing and thrives on challenges. Having recently moved from Hamilton to join us, she is finding a passion about her work in the legal profession and is excited for the future and to meet new people.
