HCOL is one of the oldest law firms in Tokoroa. HCOL was originally the firm Holdaway and Hassall which was formed in 1960 to meet the needs of a burgeoning Tokoroa. Over the years the firm's name has incorporated past lawyers including Sinclair Gordon, Adrian Tisch, Mary Ellen Newton and more latterly, Robin O’Connor, Andrew Cameron and Denise Lee. The firm is known today as Hassall Cameron O'Connor & Lee.
